Ugh Crazy….
I haven’t been able to update since con, due to lots of crazy. I’ll explain when I have everything together. The next update will have the rest of the pieces sold and/or taken to con, along with the detailed disappearance. Be back soon!
Pale Warrior
Last for this evening is number fourteen!!! If you haven’t already figured it out the closer con weekend is the more hyper I get. Understand that this will be first time in almost a year that I have seen some of my friends, beable to cosplay and just be myself. But, enough of that on to this beauty!
One of my black and coloured pencil pieces, they aren’t really ink but what the heck they will be for sell too! I enjoyed the power in this piece, the almost regal nature of this canine. I feel like we are so hung up on looks that we forget that scars a beautiful, I love them. Scars tell a story, they show the hardships a person or animal has faced. I hope this shows people to be proud and strong.

Leap of Deception
Lucky number thirteen, ironic it’s a black cat! Thirteen actually is a lucky number for me, although I am a firm believer that there is no bad luck, only bad events that end good, even if you never realize it. What is funny is I get a lot of commisons for cats, when you would think that I would get more birds and canines. I guess it’s just whatever anyone really likes even though I hate doing cats hahaha XD I have nothing against them they are just harder to design, good practice though!

Thief of Another Colour
Annnnd here is lovely number twelve!! 3 days until con weekend!!! So I am a huge Zorro fan, like huge, particularly the ’50s Disney’s Zorro portrayed by the amazing Guy Williams. This fox was done while re-watching the series one day, I realized I wanted to do something to honor this great piece of entertainment history. As you can see this baby was perfect. If you have never seen Disney’s Zorro I highly recommend checking it out, Zorro still puts me on the edge of my seat. XD

Blaze
And last for tonight is number eleven! This is another coloured pencil on black paper. This fox is one of the more traditional designs I have used in the past. When I first started (a while ago) most of my canines had this shape. Here’s a secrete, when I first worked on pieces like this I couldn’t draw legs they just did not work so I changed my ideas and blocked with tails. I still use this even though I can draw paws, it depends on what I feel like doing.

Tide
Next is number 10!! Now this one has a story too… I couldn’t come up with an animal to sketch one night and my sister says do a dolphin. I thought she had lost her mind, since I normally do canines and birds. Bored, I went for it and I actually did it. I could not believe I had created something way out of what I do. I guess it’s just one of those things you never know what can happen.

Moonlit Fall
Number nine!! Only four days until con weekend!! I really enjoyed doing this wolf even though he took a lot of time organizing the colouring. Originally, I planned to colour or add a design to the body, but it looked horrible. I decided to leave him white and create a flip. Rather than having the moon shape a traditional white, I gave it to the wolf. The sketch for this piece was done in a public place, where most of those sketches don’t get inkings, because I tend to work better from home.

Nocturnal Seize
And next we have number eight!! Again this piece is coloured pencil on black paper. I’ll tell you a secrete originally the half moon was a small bat hanging upside down. That was until my pencil slipped, then it just looked like a bat with a broken wing. So he became a moon instead…

Once Upon
Five days left until con weekend!! Here is happy number seven! This piece is so strange and took forever with the colour flipping. Since Valentine’s Day is coming up I wanted something a little romantic for the hopeless romantics out-there. (Yes, I am pointing at myself…) If you are wondering about the name I was watching ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” it was fitting for my love birds.

Touch the Knight
Here is number six! Six days until con weekend! This one, he is a little different, because I normally create wolves and foxes, buuuut this little guy is a dog. He is one of the creatures similar to my comfort zone yet is not a common animal in my inkings. Personally, I like the calming feeling this piece has.

Broken
So I just realized with only six days left until the con, I still have 16 pieces to get on here. So from here on out I’ll be posting 2-3 blogs. I want to get them up before, in case they are purchased.
This piece is fairly unique in that it is only done in coloured pencil. The process is easy but has several steps. I copy the sketch on tracing paper then press it onto the black paper and colour as I see fit.

Flightless
Another piece for the con! Only seven days left, I can’t believe it’s just a week away! I really enjoyed working on this one, the silver turned out very pretty. :D

Wild Calling
Another piece for the con. Only eight days out I’ll be posting more images up until the day of the con. This one has been a favorite for many I hope he gets a good home (I love him too XD )

The special project I have been working on, as a gift (talked about in the last blog) is now completed! I am really happy with this piece, it took a lot of heart and I am truly proud of it. As I said before there will never been another one like this.
